Sure, I want to review beer gear and beer gadgets here, but when we are not sitting in bars and breweries drinking beer there are plenty of other activities I enjoy. Activities such as night fishing while enjoying a cold beer, or heading to a concert to check out the local music scene and enjoy a few beers both come to mind. So I guess this product really is one that beer lovers can benefit from. I found this out first hand this weekend . Made by BoldBrite, a small family-run company based in Kentucky that loves outdoor adventures, the reflective running headlamp is suitable for people of all activity levels.
As day turned to night and the band reached their 3rd song of the set, my son decided he was bored with the concert. This was the first test of the headlamp. He popped it on and set it on the less bright setting and we went exploring the grounds. While not bright enough to be blinding, he could poke around and see where he was going despite the ebb and flow of the crowd. The adjustable headband also was able to accommodate both my head and the head of a seven year old.
I was already sold on the lamp, but last night it came in handy yet again. I had cleaned out a car and left a few things out in the driveway. Unfortunately I could not see them well with the regular driveway lights. Popped on the headlamp and it allowed me hands free access to see everything while not having to hold a flashlight. Once inside, the lamp showed me cobwebs that I did not know I had in the garage.
For under 20 bucks this is a great headlamp with unlimited applications. My only concern is that I have a feeling my son and I will be wrestling it back and forth from each other as we find more uses for it.
