Back in December we set some pretty ambitious goals at beer up with our New Beer's Resolutions list. Looking at the list now, it was pretty ambitious and I am feeling a bit dejected. However one venue that did not end up on my list in Asheville NC. I have always wanted to head out that way as it is home to numerous breweries we have featured before including Sierra Nevada, Catawba and Wicked Weed for its Dark Arts Release Party to name a few. So it was bittersweet news when I found out that on the weekend we are heading to Asheville with some beer friends, some of my other beer buddies are having a bar crawl in Richmond VA. While I would love to be in two places at once, a weekend in Asheville was too hard to pass up. Luckily, through the miracle of technology, we can follow both bar crawls in real time through their untapped feeds. This way our readers can see what local beers are being consumed and get up to the minute ratings and reviews. If you ever wanted to head to Richmond or Asheville, this is a great opportunity to see some of the bars and breweries worth visiting as our beer savants give you a virtual brew tour throughout the day. As always feel free to chime in with comments below. Cheers!

Here's what I know for certain: Legend is still relevant and at times stunning, Strangeways can be amazing, The Answer is possibly 2nd only to Mekong, Garden Grove is garbage and Commercial Taphouse closing is heartbreaking.
